<p>Join Celia for a Cantonese day out at Horsey Gap Beach on the east coast of England!</p><p>After travelling from London, we walk along a sandy path, meet lots of cows, and head towards the sea in search of sea lions. <p>Come along for a haircut at my hairstylist's home and a visit to a bookshop. You will hear a real request for about two inches off, some thinning, and layers before we explore book sections and find a Cantonese learning book.</p><p><br></p><p>Practise 剪頭髮 (*zin2 tau4 faat3*; get a haircut) and 兩寸 (*loeng5 cyun3*; two inches). At the bookshop, hear two ways to say bookshop, 書店 (*syu1 dim3*) and 書局 (*syu1 guk2*), as well as 地庫 (*dei6 fu3*; basement). What it is
Celia publishes a few minutes at a time — practical vocabulary, tone and pronunciation tips, cultural context, and some episodes recorded entirely in Cantonese as comprehensible input — with about fifty episodes by mid-2026 and a new one most weeks. Free, and transcripts are available if you email her. The episodes are deliberately tiny and not sequenced into a course, so use it as the habit-forming daily drip rather than your main study.
