What it is
A daily segment from NHK's morning radio programme マイあさ！ in which an NHK correspondent posted overseas explains one story from the country they cover. Episodes are short, scripted and delivered at a measured pace, and the subject matter is often already familiar from international news in your own language — which makes it one of the more approachable NHK feeds. The feed retains only about a week of episodes. Vocabulary skews toward politics, economics and place names.
