What it actually is

Kylie and Ken run through world news with jokes, tangents and a lot of swearing, switching into English whenever it suits them. It is the most listened-to podcast in Taiwan and a fast route into how young Taiwanese actually talk, slang and code-switching included. That is also the difficulty: no concessions to learners, heavy cultural reference, crude humour, and no transcripts. Treat it as immersion once you can already follow Taiwanese Mandarin conversation.
