What it actually is
Founded in 1927 and still the best-known institution teaching Hungarian to foreigners, running intensive summer programmes in Debrecen plus year-round classroom and online courses, individually or in groups, with culture-focused thematic options. An intensive month here does more than a year of casual app use, which is the honest case for paying. Courses are paid, with prices depending on format and length. The site is largely in Hungarian, which is an odd hurdle for prospective beginners.
