What it actually is

The Spanish-to-English course is one of Duolingo’s largest, with instructions and translations in Spanish. It builds a daily habit and early vocabulary well, and the free tier is enough. It will not get you speaking on its own: use it alongside listening and a grammar explanation in Spanish such as the channels on this page.
