What it actually is
Danish public libraries lend ebooks and audiobooks digitally at no cost, and reading a novel while listening to its audiobook is one of the most effective intermediate-to-advanced routines there is. The catalogue includes plenty of translated fiction, which is easier to start with than Danish originals. You need a Danish library card, which in practice means a CPR number, so this is for people living in Denmark; the service now runs through each local library's own website.
