What it actually is

Matthew Aldrich's catalogue is the deepest independent source of written Egyptian and Levantine material: verb references, vocabulary books and graded readers with Arabic script, phonemic transcription, English translation and audio, plus matching Anki decks. For dialects that barely exist in print, this fills a real gap. Books are paid (though inexpensive), the audio is streamed free on their YouTube channel, and the presentation is functional rather than polished.
