What it actually is

Public-domain US government language courses — the Peace Corps Bangla materials — as PDFs with the original tapes. The pedagogy is 1970s drill-and-substitute and the vocabulary shows its age, but the structure is thorough and the audio is by native speakers, which is more than most free Bengali material offers. Best used as a spine alongside something modern, not on its own.
