What it actually is

One of Hungary's main independent news outlets, reader-funded and free, publishing across politics, culture, science and long-form features. The range of registers is what makes it useful: a culture feature and a news brief demand very different vocabulary from the same site. Free. This is unadapted native writing with heavy use of verbal prefixes and compound nouns, so it belongs at B2 and above rather than as early reading practice.
