What it actually is
A weekly panel in which French critics praise and demolish the week's releases in front of a studio audience. It is the best possible source of opinion vocabulary — the language of liking, hating, hedging and being witty about it — and the arguments are entertaining even when you only follow half. Free and weekly. Genuinely hard: four people interrupting each other, heavy irony, literary allusion, no transcripts.
