What it actually is

Each 8–12 minute episode presents a short dialogue between Brazilians, translates it line by line into English, then digs into the vocabulary, grammar and culture behind it, graded Beginning, Elementary or Intermediate. Written by Prof. Orlando Kelm with Brazilian co-hosts from several regions, and completely free — no account, no upsell. Use the Library page rather than the podcast feed: both feeds also carry Slice of Life, the same team's English course for Brazilians, and its fifty episodes sit in front of the Portuguese ones. An academic archive, finished rather than growing.
