What it actually is
This is the reference grammar serious learners and linguists reach for: exhaustive treatment of the affix system, voice, and the differences between formal written Indonesian and everyday colloquial speech, with thousands of real examples. Nothing else explains me-/di-/ter- or the -kan/-i distinction with this much precision. It is a reference book, not a course — dry, expensive, and useless as a starting point, but the last word once you are past the basics.
