What it actually is
Two hundred and sixty-odd episodes of unhurried monologue on emotion, habit and work, published every Sunday for eight years and rated 4.8 across a couple of hundred listeners. The value for a learner is the register: this is neither news nor conversation but somebody thinking out loud at length, which is the hardest thing to find at native level and the easiest to listen to repeatedly. There are no transcripts and no concessions to learners at all. The show does not say publicly who hosts it or which region the speech comes from, so treat the accent as unlabelled rather than assuming.
