What it actually is
Aslı Göksel and Celia Kerslake's reference grammar, revised for a second edition, is what linguists and serious learners reach for when a course book's explanation runs out — full coverage of the suffix system, evidentiality, subordination and word order, with abundant real examples. It is organised by structure rather than by lesson, so you look things up in it, you do not read it front to back. Expensive at list price; earlier printings turn up much cheaper secondhand.
