What it actually is

A monolingual Vietnamese dictionary with the definitions, senses and example usage that an English gloss flattens, alongside bilingual modes if you need them. VDict tells you a word's English equivalent; this tells you what Vietnamese speakers mean by it, which is the difference between recognising a word and being able to use it. Free and needs no account, but the page is heavily advertised and plainly built. Soha's tratu is the other well-known option and is served over plain HTTP only, which is why this one is listed here instead.
