톡톡! 뉴스와 상식 (YTN 라디오)

What it actually is

Short YTN Radio segments that take a word or concept currently in the news and explain what it actually means. For a learner this is close to ideal: the episode's whole purpose is defining vocabulary, the pieces run only a few minutes, and the words chosen are exactly the ones blocking you in news bulletins. Delivery is native-speed radio and there are no transcripts, but the explanatory format does a lot of the work.
