What it actually is

The main English-language forum for Portuguese learners, with native speakers from both sides of the Atlantic. Its usefulness for this language is disproportionate to its size, because the first decision a Portuguese learner makes — which variety to study, and what happens when your materials disagree — is a question about people's habits rather than about grammar, and no book answers it as well as a hundred replies do. Smaller and slower than the Spanish and Japanese communities.
