What it actually is

RTP is Portugal’s state broadcaster, and its channel carries the widest range of registers of anything on this page: scripted news read at pace, unscripted studio discussion, and documentary narration. For a learner that mix is the value — the same day’s vocabulary comes back in three different deliveries. Everything is European Portuguese and nothing is slowed down for you.
