What it actually is

Reported stories from small towns and rural Portugal rather than Lisbon and Porto. For a learner that means two useful things: ordinary people speaking unrehearsed, and regional accents you will not hear on a national broadcast. Slower and more personal than news; good once bulletins stop being a wall of sound.
