What it actually is

ZDF's daily 10-minute news programme for kids happens to be an ideal A2–B1 listening resource: clear articulation, short sentences, and background explainers for anything complicated. Free to stream from the ZDF Mediathek with German subtitles available. Some episodes are geo-restricted outside Germany, and the framing is aimed at children, which not everyone finds tolerable.
