What it actually is

Two short editions a day — morning and evening — each taking one story at length plus a handful of headlines, hosted by ZEIT journalists. Ten minutes is short enough that you can listen twice, which is how most learners should use a native news podcast. Free, extremely reliable, and one of the most-listened German podcasts; there are no transcripts and the register is educated broadsheet German with plenty of subordinate clauses.
