What it actually is

RTP zigzag is the state broadcaster's children's brand, and its YouTube channel carries the programmes from the TV channel: animation, nature, and studio shows made in Portugal or dubbed into European Portuguese. RTP describes it as being for ages 3 to 12, which is the range recorded here. For an adult learner it is unusually good listening — children's television speaks slowly, repeats itself and names what is on screen.
